Job Summary
Serve as the primary point of contact for resident and family requests, handling non-emergency calls, outgoing call assistance, and activity inquiries. Coordinate services including dry cleaning, grocery delivery, dinner reservations, and transportation, while confirming satisfaction and tracking complaints. Maintain lobby and common area cleanliness, manage background music and floral arrangements, and ensure all restrooms are welcoming. Answer questions about local stores and attractions, and act as a liaison between residents and the dining room for meal reservations and event RSVPs. Coordinate the community transportation schedule, including Engage Life outings and medical transport, providing written confirmations and reminder calls. Supervise front desk reception staff and drivers as needed, and may drive the company vehicle to social destinations. Complete all required Atria training programs and work various shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three years related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic First Aid and CPR certification where required
- Must successfully complete all Atria specified training programs
- Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Able to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Able to work various schedules and shifts as needed
- Able to operate: telephone, emergency call system, monitoring board or beeper, photocopier
