Job Summary
Prepare concession items, pour beverages, and operate the point of sale system while maintaining excellent food presentation and sanitation standards. Set up all concession locations prior to doors by verifying inventory, assigning duties, and ensuring workstations are ready. Serve guests by taking orders, building food items according to standardized recipes, and replenishing stock to appropriate levels. Clean and sanitize workstations, including prep tables and service counters, after service. Maintain excellent service with a positive demeanor and adhere to OVG safety policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner that focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
- Possess a valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations.
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly.
- Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation, and product inventory.
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
