Job Summary
Oversee food and beverage service at concession stands, bars, and portable locations by ensuring proper pre-event setup, verifying inventory, assigning duties, and maintaining sanitation standards. Supervise staff and volunteers to ensure safe alcohol service, including ID checks and managing intoxicated guests, while monitoring POS transactions and relaying orders to the kitchen. Provide training on property procedures, reinforce operational best practices, and address safety hazards or incidents immediately. Assist with inventory management, special events, and Premium Services operations to maintain efficient, profitable event execution. Maintain excellent attendance and adhere to all company policies in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years' experience working in a supervisory capacity in a food & beverage environment
- Ability to supervise the work of others
- Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner that focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Possess a valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
- Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation, and product inventory
