Job Summary
Process all sales transactions via cash, debit, and credit using a point-of-sale system while adhering to cash handling policies. Balance registers, make change, and record purchases accurately. Serve customers efficiently and maintain cleanliness by stocking workstations, sweeping floors, and ensuring food storage and utensil standards. Operate large-volume cooking equipment including grills, fryers, steamers, and ovens to maintain quality production standards. Sweep and mop work areas at the end of each shift. Check with management to confirm cleanliness standards are met. Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards throughout the shift. This role requires attendance at 90% of scheduled events and availability for early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. ServSafe Alcohol training is required within 15 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner that focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
- If not already certified, you must be willing to take ServSafe Alcohol training within 15 days of date of hire (at our expense).
- Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of heavy objects.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as a productive member of a team.
- Capable of working a flexible schedule and extended hours, including but not limited to working early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- The schedule is event-based and must be available for 90% of scheduled events, as well as some mandatory shifts.
- Proven ability to work well with all levels of management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
