Job Summary
Oversee food and beverage operations at ballpark concessions, bars, and portable locations by ensuring proper setup, verifying inventory, and assigning responsibilities to staff and volunteers. Provide high-level operational expertise to execute events efficiently, including supervising beverage service, checking IDs for alcohol sales, and managing POS transactions. Train employees on property procedures and best practices while maintaining sanitation, health, and safety standards. Address safety concerns immediately and enforce company policies regarding employee relations and corrective action. Assist the management team with projects, including training, inventory, and special events, while promoting a positive, cooperative workplace environment. This role requires excellent attendance and availability for scheduled events.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years of experience working in a supervisory capacity in a food and beverage environment
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to supervise the work of others
- Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner that focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Possess a valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
- Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to POS credit transactions and product inventory
