Job Summary
Oversee event-based concession kitchen operations, supervise staff, ensure food safety and quality, train back-of-house staff, manage opening/closing, set up and breakdown of work stations, and coordinate with front-of-house to deliver fast, high-quality service during Winnipeg Blue Bomber games and major events, ensuring recipes are followed and brand requirements are met.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years cooking experience
- A valid Food Handler’s Certificate
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Knowledgeable in operating food service equipment
- sanitation and safety issues
- Excellent guest service skills
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting and repetitive motions
- Ability and willingness to work extended hours (evenings, weekends, holidays)
