Concessions Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate concession operations for athletic events at a Kentucky campus site by organizing and coordinating food service and volunteer efforts. Manage vendor orders, inventory, and pricing, and schedule and train volunteer workers (team parents). Oversee opening and closing of concession stands, ensure product stock and rotation, uphold health department guidelines for food preparation, and maintain sales/purchase records within the department budget. Focus on delivering hospitality to CAL families and community members, with an emphasis on relationships with students, parents, and alumni. Requires strong interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to work evenings/weekends, and a willingness to work with volunteers to support athletic events.
Required Qualifications
- A strong clear Christian testimony with a mature and godly spirit
- Commitment to faithful attendance and support of a church whose beliefs are in agreement with the Statement of Faith for Christian Academy School System
- Agreement and belief that the Bible is the final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
- Ability to multitask and work in fast paced environment
- Willingness to work with team parents to schedule and train volunteer workers
- Responsible for coordinating orders with athletic department and placing those orders with approved vendors
- Maintain health department guidelines for food preparation
- Accurate and up to date record keeping of sales and purchases
- Create a welcoming environment to visitors and CAL families
- Operate within established annual budget
