Job Summary
Serve food and beverages to guests at BMO Center and Coronado Theatre while maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness. Prepare food and beverage for customers, assist with event room set-up, and establish positive client relationships. Anticipate guest needs to provide a memorable experience and ensure all health codes and alcohol serving regulations are followed. Work extended and irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays based on the events calendar.
Required Qualifications
- Must understand and practice the concept of teamwork
- Must have attention to detail
- Must have good oral and written communication skills and understand instructions and guest request
- Must have strong customer service skills
- Must have basic math skills
- Must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment, managing competing demands, frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events
- Must be able to work extended and/or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be able to pass a background check and meet corporate minimum requirements
- Must be able to lift 20 lbs
- Must be able to balance serving trays and have good manual dexterity
- Must be able to move around the facility
- Must be able to stand for long hours during events
- Must be able to talk and hear
- Must be able to work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events
- Must be able to perform work through repetitive eye/hand coordination
