Job Summary
Assist the Concessions Director and Manager in supervising all part-time workers and non-profit organizations across OVG-managed venues. Execute daily operations including inventory controls, product ordering, POS management, and compliance with alcohol and food service policies. Oversee setup, sanitation, and operational support before, during, and after events, while providing direction to staff and troubleshooting guest service issues. Manage high-volume sales, conduct post-event evaluations, and compile data reports on monetary and product shortages. Support the research and testing of new products and recipes to drive business growth. This role requires flexible availability for evenings and weekends, travel to support other OVG accounts, and adherence to state and federal safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years' experience working in a supervisory capacity in a food & beverage environment
- Ability to supervise the work of others
- Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner that focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Possess a valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
- Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation, and product inventory
- Must be available to work a variable, event-driven schedule, including evenings and weekends
