Job Summary
Conduct cash register sales by taking orders, building orders, and completing transactions while preparing and serving beverages, including alcoholic drinks, to guests. Build food orders, maintain stock and supply levels, and communicate low-stock items to the Concessions Stand Manager. Listen to customer requests, respond to concerns, and check guest IDs to verify minimum age requirements for alcohol. Maintain a clean, organized workspace, dispose of garbage, clean dishes, and uphold sanitation, health, and safety standards. Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. This part-time role at Tribute Communities Centre offers an hourly rate of $17.60-$18.35 CAD with tip eligibility and union benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Three or more months' experience in the food service industry preferred.
- Previous cash handling experience preferred.
- Ability to learn to handle cash and learn to operate a cash register and corresponding system.
- Excellent interpersonal skills & a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers & guests.
