Job Summary
Conduct cash register sales by taking orders, building orders, and completing transactions. Prepare food and beverages for guests, including serving alcoholic drinks while checking IDs to verify age requirements. Maintain stock and supply levels, communicating low-stock items to the Concessions Stand Manager. Ensure a clean and organized workspace by disposing of garbage and cleaning dishes while upholding sanitation, health, and safety standards. Listen to and respond to customer requests or concerns. This part-time role at Temple Gardens Centre offers an hourly rate of $15.70 - $17.50 CAD with tip eligibility and pension matching. The position remains open until November 13, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Three or more months' experience in the food service industry preferred.
- Previous cash handling experience preferred.
- Ability to learn to handle cash and learn to operate a cash register and corresponding system.
- Excellent interpersonal skills & a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers & guests.
