Job Summary
Prepare and maintain concession counter cleanliness, restock display cases, and accurately respond to guest requests for food and beverage items. Process cash transactions, reconcile end-of-shift financials, and follow strict health, safety, and sanitation guidelines. Assist guests with daily specials, answer preparation questions, and deliver food efficiently to ensure positive guest experiences. Maintain a professional appearance, promote team member relations, and report inventory shortages or spoilage to management. This part-time role at Muckleshoot Casino Resort requires a Class B gaming license, valid WA Health Card, and one year of counter serving experience.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to obtain a Class B gaming license
- Must maintain a valid WA State Health Card/Food Handlers Permit
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Ability to follow specific instructions
- Ability to learn and use technical equipment (espresso machine)
- Ability to handle stress under pressure
- Ability to provide quality guest service
- Ability to accurately exchange money with the guests
- Ability to reconcile all cash and money at the end of the day
- Ability and willingness to maintain a clean, healthy, and safe working environment
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- 1 (one) year counter serving experience preferred
- Cash handling experiences preferred
- Knowledge of all beverages, and the ability to make flavored and other specialty drinks with consistency
- Knowledge of health & safety standards, and safety regulations as required
- Ability to demonstrate a well-groomed presence and always maintain a professional appearance and attitude
