Job Summary
Develop new avionics software solutions in compliance with aerospace industry certification standards (RTCA/DO-178C) and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, and coding. Provide support and resolve challenges related to emerging technologies while participating in peer reviews to ensure quality and teamwork. Continuously enhance technical expertise by working with a commercial real-time operating system (RTOS) compliant with the ARINC 653 standard and integrating SCADE Display models for user interface design. Develop software using Agile methodologies. This role supports Scalian's work across aerospace, defense, railways, and energy sectors in Montreal, QC.
Required Qualifications
- College diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field
- Experience in embedded software development
- Previous experience in the aerospace industry
- Strong knowledge of RTCA, DO-178C, and ARINC 653 standards
- Ability to work effectively within an Agile development environment
- Bilingual in French and English
