Job Summary
Concepteur/conceptrice cabine responsible for design and 2D/3D modeling of parts and assemblies, conducting analyses and resolving production-related issues, producing 2D drawings from 3D models per client/industry standards, and ensuring compliance with AS9100 requirements and SOGECLAIR procedures. Responsibilities include design/modification of parts and assemblies, interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications, standardization of models/drawings, root cause analysis, technical support to production/engineering, development/maintenance of quality procedures, knowledge sharing with the team, review of assembly instructions, and adherence to QMS tools. Requires strong teamwork, analytical skills, initiative, and bilingual communication in French and English.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
- DEC in Aerospace Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field
- Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry is considered an asset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Strong knowledge of First Article Inspection (FAI) processes
- Proficiency with design and modeling software such as CATIA V5, 3DVia, and NX
- Knowledge of Material Resource Planning (MRP) systems, such as SAP and BaaN
- Knowledge of Teamcenter software
- Knowledge of Mentor Graphics or CorelDRAW is considered an asset
- Knowledge of design and product lifecycle management software such as AutoCAD, SmarTeam, Enovia, and MBOM is considered an asset
- Bilingualism (French and English), both written and spoken
