Job Summary
Maintain the COMSEC account by preparing shipment, order, and receipt of COMSEC equipment and encryption keys, while tracking supersession dates and submitting accurate accounting reports. Perform software upgrades to COMSEC equipment, conduct inventory reconciliations, perform compliance validations, and manage incident reporting and investigations. Submit accurate and timely reports and conduct inventory reconciliations for the traditional account supporting network encryptors, secure voice products, and fill devices. Local travel is required to other locations as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- DoD Clearance: Top Secret
- Active and existing security clearance on day 1
- A University Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years prior relevant experience
- An Advanced Degree in a related field
- Minimum 3 years experience (with Advanced Degree)
- Experience with NISPOM
- Experience with how COMSEC plays into the success of business
- Experience with NSA CSSM Policy 3-16
- Experience with NSA CSSM Policy 3-16 and its associated references
- Attention to detail
- Time management
- Follow-through
- NSA COMSEC certification
- Experience with support of a large COMSEC account
- Experience with receipt, custody, safeguarding and destruction of production and/or depot COMSEC material
- Experience with End Cryptographic Unit management
- Experience with load/fill procedures
- Experience with troubleshooting COMSEC equipment
- Experience in the management of Windows based information systems
- KMI training certification
- Knowledgeable of legacy COMSEC equipment
- Local travel required to other locations as necessary
