Job Summary
Senior COMSEC Engineer to lead end-to-end COMSEC operations in a DoD environment, configuring and keying high-assurance cryptographic hardware, ensuring adherence to COMSEC policies, and maintaining secure operations across CONUS/OCONUS sites. Responsible for deploying and sustaining COMSEC fleets, safeguarding keying material, managing rekeying schedules, and providing custodian training. Requires strong networking and information security knowledge, hands-on TACLANE experience, and the ability to coordinate with external customers and deployment teams while delivering compliant, mission-focused security solutions.
Required Qualifications
- General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) TACLANE Encryptor Operator Training certified
- BS degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience
- DoD 8140/8570.01-M IAT Level II certification (e.g. Security+ CE)
