Job Summary
Turn prototyped computer vision and deep learning algorithms into high-quality, production-ready code. Design strategies to optimize computer vision algorithms for embedded systems and mobile devices across x86, GPU, and multi-core ARM architectures. Participate in code reviews, design software modules, and communicate with embedded and backend engineers to continuously improve algorithm performance. Create automated tests and troubleshoot software issues as needed. Document software architecture. Work onsite in the Montreal, Canada office with a hybrid schedule of minimum three days in-office per week.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Masters in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of work experience
- Basic understanding of computer vision

- Modern C++ programming skills
- Python programming skills
- Minimum of 3 days in the office per week

Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge on inference libraries: ONNX RT, OpenVINO, TensorRT, LiteRT
- Optimization experience on embedded GPU and AI accelerator platforms: Nvidia, ARM
- Parallelized & vectorized computation
- Knowledge on training libraries: PyTorch, Tensorflow
- GPU programming experience using CUDA or Open CL
- Knowledge in Vision-Language Models (VLMs), Vision Transformers (ViTs) and advanced CNNs
- Experience in using GenAI development tools (GitHub Copilot)
- French language skills
