Computer Vision/ML Engineer

Lead deep learning engineer to spearhead sensing technology development for autonomous healthcare robots. Responsibilities include designing and deploying computer vision models (YOLO, InsightFace, MediaPipe, facial landmark detection, object tracking, pose estimation) for real-time edge inference; optimizing models for embedded deployment with quantization, pruning, TensorRT, and Triton; building and maintaining MLOps pipelines; developing video processing pipelines for vital-sign extraction; establishing engineering best practices and reducing technical debt; contributing to the architecture and implementation of the computer vision stack from research to production. Requirements include a Master’s or PhD in ML/CV, strong C++ and Python, 5+ years deploying CV models to production on resource-constrained devices, and experience with PyTorch and edge AI. Nice to have: NVIDIA Jetson, TensorRT/Triton, MLOps, sensor fusion, healthcare/regulatory domain experience. Location: Montreal, QC, Canada. Salary: not disclosed in posting.
