Computer Vision Engineer

Job Summary
Design, develop and deploy computer vision and machine learning models for operational use cases including livestock monitoring, quality inspection and process automation. Collaborate with operational teams to identify and prioritise AI use cases that deliver measurable value across the business. Build and maintain robust ML pipelines for data ingestion, model training, evaluation and deployment in production environments. Drive procurement of camera hardware and imaging infrastructure across operational sites, ensuring reliable capture and integration with AI systems. Integrate computer vision systems with existing operational technology, cameras, sensors and data infrastructure across Harvest Road sites. Monitor model performance in production and implement continuous improvement processes to maintain accuracy and reliability. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience preferred; hands-on implementation of computer vision solutions and production deployments required. Strong analytical ability to translate business problems into technical solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, data science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Demonstrable hands-on experience delivering computer vision solutions
- Python programming
- Computer vision techniques (object detection, image segmentation, classification)
- ML model training, evaluation and production deployment
- Current class ‘C’ driver’s licence
