Job Summary
Senior Computer Vision Engineer to join an applied research startup focused on 4D spatial understanding from aerial and oblique imagery. You will build components of a state-of-the-art CV pipeline, improve models (e.g., Mask2Former, SAM, ViT, Swin) for aerial imagery, run scalable experiments with PyTorch, maintain modular ML infrastructure, collaborate on deployment and inference optimizations, and read/reproduce ideas from top-tier papers. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in ML/deep learning for CV, strong Python/PyTorch skills, experience training segmentation/detection models at scale, familiarity with generative modeling and large foundation models, and prior startup experience. Extra credit for experience with high-resolution aerial imagery, LiDAR, self-supervised/weakly-supervised learning, 3D/CAD/graphics, and cloud computing (AWS).
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in ML / deep learning, ideally in Computer Vision
- Strong coding ability (Python, PyTorch)
- Trained segmentation/detection models on real-world data at scale
- Experience with generative modeling and large foundation models
- Experience with startups or fast-moving teams and can wear many hats
