Job Summary
Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Install, configure, and upgrade computer systems and software applications while providing timely technical support to end-users both remotely and on-site. Maintain and update inventory of computer equipment and software licenses, documenting all service activities and troubleshooting steps. Collaborate with IT team members to implement system upgrades, security patches, and new workstation setups, and monitor system performance to recommend efficiency improvements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in computer hardware and software troubleshooting and repair
- Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certification in Computer Technology or related field
- CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent technical certification
- Experience with enterprise-level IT support and ticketing systems
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and tools
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies and cloud services
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
