Job Summary
Computer Systems Engineer – Physical Security Systems responsible for analyzing user requirements, integrating enterprise applications with security systems, configuring video surveillance and access control, creating documentation and dashboards, and providing advanced support to ensure data integrity and scalable security infrastructure across IT and physical security teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in systems analysis, IT security, or integrated systems support roles
- Strong experience with relational databases and writing complex SQL queries
- Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Python, Java, C#, HTML)
- Experience analyzing, integrating, and supporting enterprise applications and systems
- Solid understanding of security systems architecture (access control, CCTV, sensors, hardware)
- Experience creating and managing technical documentation, business process maps, and user guides
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and reporting tools
- Excellent communication skills
- Preferred: CCURE 9000, Milestone VMS, AutoCAD familiarity, security or IT-related certifications (e.g., CompTIA, CISSP, PMP)
- Ability to travel occasionally
