Job Summary
Support classified government contracts by isolating issues across software, firmware, hardware, networks, and applications. Maintain customer satisfaction while reporting task statuses and troubleshooting systems, including installing, patching, and managing backup and recovery services. Administer Windows and Linux environments by creating user accounts, managing file permissions, and ensuring virus protection. Test new product releases for compatibility, assist with vendor evaluations, and maintain security audit logging. Raise senior-level issues via ticketing systems and adhere to strict information security guidelines. Work on-site in Hollywood, MD, with 10% travel, after-hours availability, and a Top Secret clearance requirement.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree with 0 years of experience
- Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of relevant experience
- Associate's Degree with 4 years of relevant experience
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 6 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems and workstation support
- Knowledge of Linux Server Operating Systems and workstation support
- Current U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance (at a minimum), to include a closed investigation date completed within the last 6 years
- Enrollment in the U.S. Government Continuous Evaluation (CE) Program
- Ability to obtain, and maintain, access to Special Access Programs within a reasonable amount of time following hire
- U.S. Citizenship
- Must be available for on-site work at the Hollywood, MD location
- Must be available for work after hours and weekends as needed
- Must be willing to work on-site (no virtual or telecommute options)
Desired Qualifications
- Windows Server Administration experience to include, Active Directory, and Group Policy
- Knowledge of NISPOM Chapter 8, DCID 6/3-ICD 503, RMF, STIG, JAFAN, or JSIG information system environments
- Understanding of basic networking
- Creation and deployment of system images in a LAN up to an enterprise environment
- Awareness of virtualization technologies
- Knowledge of environmental monitoring tools (HBSS/Solar Winds/Splunk)
- Limited experience in scripting
- Operating System Cross-platform awareness (i.e. two or more: Windows, Linux, Solaris, OSX, UNIX, etc.)
- Experience with Assessment & Authorization processes
