Job Summary
Provide detailed forensic examinations for NCIS cases, testify in court, test and evaluate network-based investigative tools, and train government staff. Requires active TS clearance, SCI eligibility, and specialized certifications (Cellebrite, FTK/OSForensics, SANS 500/585). Must have 5+ years of digital forensics experience, expertise across Windows/Linux/MacOS, and strong data collection, chain-of-custody, and documentation skills. Salary range $135,000–$145,000 with TS SCI clearance eligibility at contract start; on-site at San Diego, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years digital forensics experience using Cellebrite UFED4PC/Physical Analyzer
- Proficiency with FTK, and/or OSForensics
- Expertise with Windows, Linux/Unix, and Macintosh OS
- Forensic data collection procedures, chain of custody, documentation in law enforcement environment
- Cellebrite CCO and CCPA; SANS FOR 500 and FOR 585
- DCITA DoD Digital Forensic Examiner or FBI CART certification
- Top Secret (TS SCI) clearance suitability at contract start
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science-related field or five years of equivalent work experience
