Job Summary
Senior Computer Scientist to join Accenture Federal Services in Annapolis Junction, MD. Responsibilities include assisting in defining requirements, designing and building security components, testing efforts, software design and programming, algorithm analysis and design, reverse engineering, and designing/developing computer or information systems (hardware and/or software). Requires a CS degree with substantial experience (8 years with a Bachelor's, 6 years with a Master’s, or 4 years with a Doctoral degree) and 3+ years of Python, plus familiarity with networking concepts; Bonus points for C++, customer tools, Wireshark, and Linux. Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required. The role is aligned with US federal government missions across defense, national security, public safety, civilian, and military health organizations, and offers a base pay range of $140,400—$265,300 USD and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (CS) or related field
- 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 6 years with a Master’s degree, or 4 years with a Doctoral degree
- 5 years of experience in computer systems research
- 3 years of experience with simulation/model development and prototyping
- 3+ years’ experience with Python
- Familiarity with network analysis and concepts
- Bonus Points: Experience with C++, Experience with customer tools, Experience with Wireshark, Linux experience
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance
