Computer Scientist (Junior Level)

Junior-level Computer Scientist to support cloud infrastructure and software development activities for the FAA's NAS Innovation and Emerging Concepts lab at the William J. Hughes Technical Center in Pomona, NJ. Primary duties include supporting cloud-based research and development with AWS, containerization, and modern software practices; configuring and managing AWS environments; participating in software development, testing, integration, and troubleshooting; developing software using multiple languages and technologies; supporting research, prototyping, and simulation including projects using the Godot game engine; collaborating with engineers, researchers, and stakeholders to deliver FAA-related innovations. Note: FAA security onboarding may take two or more months, and the role requires full-time onsite work at WJHTC in Pomona, NJ with no remote option.
