Job Summary
Plan a program of study that meets individual student needs and establish clear objectives for lessons, units, and projects. Create a safe classroom environment and employ best instructional methods like Universal Design for Learning to guide the learning process. Communicate regularly with colleagues, students, and parents while developing classroom rules and maintaining order. Supervise teacher aides and volunteers, attend staff meetings, and participate in staff development programs. Work independently to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects while adhering to district policies and state laws. This role is available for the 2026-2027 school year and requires a valid Massachusetts teaching license in Programming and Web Development with an SEI Endorsement. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts Teaching license in the area of Vocational Teacher-Information Support & Services Cluster- Programming and Web Development with SEI Endorsement
- Training and experience in the field of Computer Science, Programming and Web Development, Support and Services, and Networking
- At least a Bachelor's Degree in the area of major study
- Knowledge of specialized content area as well as any related laws and procedures
- Ability to plan and implement lessons based on district and school objectives and the needs and abilities of students to whom assigned
