Job Summary
Perform repairs on computers, printers, POS equipment, and hand-held mobile scanners while conducting quality checks on setups and disassemblies. Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving complicated repairs, evaluating repair processes, and maintaining checklists for staging and integration tasks. Candidates should have a high school diploma, with an associate degree preferred, along with 1-3 years of relevant experience. Skills in component-level soldering, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years’ experience in related field
- Experience with computer software, printers, and/or scanners installation and configuration
- Ability to repair laser barcode equipment such as Symbol, Intermec, and Honeywell
- Component level soldering skills
- Excellent organization, attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift on a repetitive basis up to a maximum of 70 lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Occasional evenings and weekends required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with POS (Point-of-Sale) equipment
- A+ Certification
- Basic Office Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Basic soldering skills
- Ability to quickly learn new skills
