Job Summary
Review customer work orders and assess user-reported computer issues to identify and resolve problems on various Chromebooks. Test device needs to determine appropriate repairs, performing electronic device repairs including hardware and software troubleshooting while following proper procedures. Set up, repair, or replace computer hardware and associated devices as needed, ensuring each device meets required quality checks. Remain flexible with internal movement across K–12 teams to support training on multiple device types and stay current with OEM requirements. Meet established production goals while consistently upholding QC standards. This long-term contract role requires standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and carrying products for up to 8 hours in a warehouse environment with temperature fluctuations and noise.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience as a computer technician or in a similar IT role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively
- Time management and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a production-focused environment
- Demonstrated ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort working in a warehouse environment which includes changes in temperature as the weather fluctuates, noise form conveyors and forklifts
