Job Summary
Develop and maintain a web application using ASP.NET Core and Blazor, while building and optimizing RESTful APIs with Entity Framework Core. Collaborate with team members to plan, design, and implement new features, and participate in code reviews to provide constructive feedback. Work extensively with SQL to design, query, and optimize relational databases, and maintain and debug an existing .NET desktop application. Requires an active DoD Secret security clearance and proficiency in C#, SQL, and git. This role supports the Submarine Maintenance Engineering, Planning and Procurement (SUBMEPP) program, aligning with NAVSEA's mission to keep Naval ships and submersibles safe, reliable, and affordable.
Required Qualifications
- Professional experience with C# and ASP.NET Core
- Strong proficiency in Blazor or similar web UI frameworks
- Familiarity with REST APIs
- Experience with SQL or other relational databases
- Solid understanding of git
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- An active or current DoD Secret security clearance
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs
- Must be available during the core work hours
- Must account for the required number of hours in a pay period
- Ability to travel CONUS; potential to travel OCONUS
- Travel up to 10% may be required
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of submarine equipment and systems (a plus)
- Familiarity with cloud services
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Github actions, Azure, DevOps, etc.)
