Job Summary
The Computer Programmer is responsible for database programming including designing and developing SQL stored procedures to automate workflows. Key responsibilities include requirements gathering, database design, application integration, and maintenance of existing systems. The role involves programming tasks such as compiling documentation, conducting trial runs, correcting program errors, and performing data manipulation requests. Candidates should have a BS in a relevant field and experience with Microsoft technologies, SQL Server, the Business Intelligence Stack, and .NET web-service frameworks. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related
- Development experience using Microsoft technologies including SQL Server 2008/2008R2 and C#
- Experience developing and maintaining databases using the Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack within SQL Server
- Experience in .NET web-service frameworks
Desired Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified in Business Intelligence
- Experience of agile software methodologies and test driven development
