Job Summary
Configure, assemble, and test computers, servers, and notebooks with meticulous accuracy in a high-volume production environment. Deploy system images via LAN servers and troubleshoot intermediate-level technical tasks using tools like Acronis, Macrium, and Microsoft DISM. Prepare, stage, and serialize production orders while performing repairs through the RMA process. Work on your feet for up to 10 hours daily, lifting up to 50 lbs, typically between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM. Achieve productivity goals and interact professionally with interdepartmental teams. Report directly to the Technical Production Manager.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of successful experience in the assembly and configuration of computer systems preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of computer hardware and components including server and workstation hardware
- Experience with Microsoft, Apple, Linux, and other related software packages
- 1-3 years of experience in the configuration of computer hardware & software in a fast paced, production, and manufacturing environment
- 1-3 years of experience configuring and/or repairing computer hardware solutions
- 1-3 years of experience imaging Windows and other Operating Systems over a LAN
- Lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet for 8-10 hour per day

Desired Qualifications
- CompTIA A+ certification is preferred
- Experience in the creation and deployment of software utilizing Microsoft DISM, WDS, Acronis, Macrium and/or related imaging tools
- Experience with other related imaging tools such as CloneZilla/Acronis/etc (preferred)
- Some knowledge of Microsoft, Linux (preferably Ubuntu, Red Hat, or related distribution) and other operating systems in a production environment
- Previously worked in computer production and assembly as a computer technician, computer repair, information technology, as an IT technician, computer technician, computer assembly, computer repair, manufacturing, or as a PC technician
