Job Summary
Provide entry-level monitoring and support for operating equipment across one or more jurisdictions, ensuring flawless 24/7 operations. Conduct intermediate analysis of systems and servers regarding host systems, middleware, applications, and tools. Monitor logical security using established procedures and resolve network technology issues associated with IP devices and backbone transports. Effectively carry out, verify, and restore predefined processes in operational checklists to guarantee successful completion of draw processing, day-end tasks, system balancing, and file transfers. Coordinate, monitor, and address internal and external customer requests while submitting recommendations to create and maintain operational procedures. This day shift role at Brightstar's West Greenwich, RI data center supports our global lottery solutions, offering a competitive starting rate of $24/hr with shift differentials.
Required Qualifications
- Two-year college degree or zero to two years of experience
- Must have some basic knowledge of multiple operating systems and applications (network, system, and servers) in order to perform entry level troubleshooting of systems and servers related to host systems, middleware, applications, and existing tools according to established procedures with minimal supervision
