Job Summary

Analyze systems and network activity to identify vulnerabilities, assess unauthorized activity across enterprise environments, investigate security events, and de-obfuscate data. Analyze system alerts and provide actionable recommendations that improve the security posture and operational effectiveness of customer systems. Collect information from multiple sources including intrusion detection systems, firewalls, network traffic logs, and host system logs to develop mitigation strategies that strengthen network defenses against cyber threats. Work closely with analysts and mission stakeholders to safeguard mission-critical environments through proactive analysis and incident response. Requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Required Qualifications

  • TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance
  • An Associate of Science (A.S.); Bachelor of Science (B.S.); Master of Science (M.S.); or Doctorate (Ph.D.) degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field such as Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Forensics, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Information Assurance, or Computer Security
  • A.S. + 10 years
  • B.S. + 8 years
  • M.S. + 6 years
  • Ph.D. + 4 years
  • Relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: Computer or information systems design and development
  • Relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: Software development or programming
  • Relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: Information, cyber, or network security
  • Relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: Vulnerability analysis
  • Relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: Penetration testing
  • Relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: Computer forensics
  • Relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: Information assurance
  • Relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: Systems engineering
  • Experience with network and/or system administration
  • Experience collecting information from multiple sources including intrusion detection systems (IDS), firewalls, network traffic logs, and host system logs
  • Experience developing mitigation strategies to strengthen network defenses and protect enterprise systems and network infrastructure from cyber threats
  • Demonstrated experience working with a variety of networking and communications technologies, including traditional wired networks, wireless communications (Wi-Fi and cellular), collaboration platforms such as video teleconferencing (VTC), and the hardware and software that support these environments
