Job Summary
Lead Cyber Range Architect responsible for designing and configuring advanced cyber-physical networks and test-bed environments. Responsibilities include architecture of networks (routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, AD, VPNs, VLANs, SANs) across bare-metal and virtualized platforms, automation and orchestration (provisioning, imaging, configuration management), and scripting (Python, Bash) using Ansible, Chef, and FOG. Requires hands-on experience with Cloud and on-prem infrastructure, hypervisors (VMware, KVM, Xen), Windows and Linux server engineering, and knowledge of network vulnerabilities and mitigations. The role also spans integration of diverse technologies including camera systems, ICS/SCADA, IoT, and RF devices, and mandates DoD 8140.03 IAT III/IAM II compliance and TS/SCI clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years experience as Cyber SME/Cyber Architect or similar
- Expert knowledge in designing and configuring computer networks (routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, Active Directory, VPNs, VLANs, SANs)
- Experience with automation, provisioning, imaging, orchestration, and configuration management
- Experience with Ansible, Chef, FOG, Project, Python, and Bash scripting
- Experience with Cloud, physical and virtual network architecture, engineering, and infrastructure monitoring
- Expertise with hypervisors VMware, KVM, and Xen
- Experience with Windows and Linux server administration and security (vulnerabilities, attack vectors, mitigation)
- Experience with camera systems, ICS/SCADA, IoT, RF devices
- DoD 8140.03 IAT III/IAM II requirements
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
