Job Summary
Computer Network Architect role responsible for designing, implementing, and sustaining secure networks for military C6ISR environments, including network modeling, capacity planning, cybersecurity integration, and systems engineering across LAN/WAN/intranets/extranets. Provides technical leadership, develops comprehensive documentation and diagrams, and coordinates with government stakeholders to ensure DoD cybersecurity and mission-objective compliance. Requires TS/SCI clearance, DoD 8140 foundational qualifications or equivalent training, and certification in CISSP/ISSAP/ISSEP or a listed GIAC/CISSO credential. Minimum seven years of network architecture/engineering experience with five years in military C6ISR contexts and at least two years of leadership experience. Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Info Systems/Data Science/Software Eng from ABET-designated institution or equivalent pathway.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Must meet DoD 8140 foundational qualifications (CSWF Foundational Qualification via DoD 8140) or equivalent training/certification
- At least one of the following certifications: CISSP, ISSAP, ISSEP, GCIA, GCSA, GCLD, GICSP, GSEC, CISSO
