Job Summary
Hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units performed on-site at customer locations. Role involves travel within assigned territories, with 2–4 calls per day and pay per call starting at $35. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to visit multiple work sites; login to a daily tech portal by 9 am to map routes and confirm service times. Onboarding includes online Dell and Lenovo certifications. Responsibilities include picking up parts daily from designated locations and completing services at customer sites (residential and commercial). This is a contract/1099 position with pay based on calls completed; tickets run Monday–Friday during the day shift, with availability on at least 3 weekdays.
Required Qualifications
- Prior hands-on experience replacing components on laptops and desktops
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to travel daily within territory
- Access to computer and Internet to log onto portal
- Onboarding certifications from Dell and Lenovo (to be completed online)
- Available to log into tech portal by 9 am to map out daily route
- Service visits at customer sites (residential and commercial)
