Job Summary
Perform on-site hardware repairs and installations for laptops and desktops as part of warranty service across assigned territories; complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo; travel daily to multiple customer sites; operate as a 1099 contractor with pay-per-call; require reliable transportation, valid driver's license, access to a computer and internet to log into portal; log calls by 9 am; coordinate with customers and schedule; pick up and drop off parts via FedEx/UPS; minimum 3 weekdays availability; 2-5 calls per day.
Required Qualifications
- Must have prior hands on experience with replacing components on laptops and desktops
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be comfortable with daily local travel
- Have access to a computer and Internet to log into your portal daily
- Be available to log into the tech portal by 9 am
- Must complete Dell and Lenovo certifications during onboarding
- 1099/per call contractor
- Pay based on number of calls with start at $35 per call
- Tickets run Monday-Friday during the day shift
- Availability of minimum 3 weekdays
- 2-5 calls per day
- Locations include visiting multiple work sites
