Job Summary
Computer Field Technician responsible for hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units; complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo; conduct on-site visits at residential and commercial sites; coordinate parts pickup daily from FedEx/UPS; log into the tech portal by 9 am to map routes and log calls; 1099/contract position paying $50 per completed call; requires reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license; must be available at least 3 weekdays and capable of handling 2-3 calls per day; daily local travel and hands-on experience replacing components on laptops/desktops.
Required Qualifications
- Must have prior hands on experience with replacing components on laptops and desktops
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be comfortable with daily local travel
- Must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day
- Must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am
- You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of onboarding
