Job Summary
Computer Field Technician needed for on-site hardware warranty services (laptop/desktop) across territories. 1099/contract role with pay-per-call structure; starting at $35 per call and increasing with distance. Certifications from Dell and Lenovo provided during onboarding. Requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, ability to travel locally, and daily portal log-in by 9 am to plan the route. Tickets are issued Mon-Fri, with 2-5 calls per day and 3+ weekday availability. On-site work at customer locations (residential/commercial); parts pickup from FedEx/UPS; EEO compliant. Based out of Granbury, TX with potential Lebanon, NH postings; in-person work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Must have prior hands on experience with replacing components on laptops and desktops
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be comfortable with daily local travel
- You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of onboarding
- Must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day
- Must be available to log into your tech portal by 9 am to map out your route for the day
- 1099/per call position
- Pay is based solely on the number of calls completed
- Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled
- Tickets run Monday-Friday during the day shift
- Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays
- You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store
- Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial)
- You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day
