Job Summary
Computer Field Technician position performing hardware repairs and installations on laptops/desktops at customer sites (residential and commercial). 1099/per-call contract with pay starting at $35 per call and increasing based on distance; typical 2-5 calls per day, 3 weekdays minimum availability. Onboarding includes online Dell and Lenovo certifications. Daily routine includes logging into a tech portal by 9 am to map calls, picking up parts daily from FedEx/UPS, and visiting multiple sites. Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, access to a computer/Internet to log calls, and comfort with local travel. Requires hands-on experience replacing laptop/desktop components and ability to coordinate service times with customers.
