Job Summary
Computer Field Technician position based out of Granbury, TX, performing on-site hardware repairs and installations on laptops and desktops across assigned territories. This is a 1099/per-call contracted role with pay per completed call starting at $50. Responsibilities include visiting multiple customer sites, coordinating service times via a dedicated portal, picking up parts daily from designated carriers, confirming service details with customers in the portal, and completing Dell and Lenovo certifications during onboarding. Requires reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license for local travel, with 3+ weekdays availability and 2–5 calls per day on average; work is conducted at residential and commercial sites.
Required Qualifications
- Must have prior hands on experience with replacing components on laptops and desktops
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be comfortable with daily local travel
- Access to a computer and Internet to log onto portal
- Able to log into tech portal by 9 am
- Will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo during onboarding
