Computer Field Technician

Job Summary
Hardware-focused field role performing on-site laptop and desktop repairs and installations across assigned territories. Responsibilities include completing Dell and Lenovo certifications during onboarding, coordinating service times with customers, logging daily activities in the technical portal, picking up and delivering parts (FedEx/UPS), and traveling to multiple customer sites (residential and commercial). Prior hands-on experience with replacing laptop/desktop components is required, along with reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. The role is contract-based (1099) with per-call compensation starting at $35 and variable daily call volume.
Required Qualifications
- Must have prior hands-on experience with replacing components on laptops and desktops
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day
- Must be available to log into the tech portal each morning by 9 am to map out your route for the day
- Daily local travel is required
- Pay is 1099/per call with pay starting at $35 per call and based on calls completed
- Will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of onboarding
