Job Summary
Conduct hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units at residential and commercial customer sites. Confirm service times, pick up daily parts from designated stores, and drop off old components using provided labels. Travel to multiple work locations throughout the day, requiring a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Complete daily portal login by 9 am to code calls and map routes, with ticket volume typically ranging from 2 to 5 calls per day. Earn pay based solely on calls completed, starting at $35 per call, with a schedule of Monday through Friday day shifts. Obtain Dell and Lenovo certifications during onboarding.
Required Qualifications
- prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware
- reliable form of transportation
- valid driver's license
- access to a computer and the Internet
- prior hands on experience with replacing components on laptops and desktops
- comfortable with daily local travel
