Job Summary
Computer Field Technician responsible for on-site hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units across territories. Role is 1099/per-call with pay starting at $35 per call and advancement with distance traveled; candidates must be available for 3 weekdays, typically 2-5 calls daily, travel locally, pick up parts daily from FedEx/UPS, and log calls in the tech portal each morning by 9 am. Certifications from Dell and Lenovo are required during onboarding. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license to visit multiple customer sites (residential and commercial). Required Qualifications
- Must have prior hands on experience with replacing components on laptops and desktops
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal
- Must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am
- You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of onboarding
