Job Summary
Conduct hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units at residential and commercial customer sites. Confirm service times via tech portal, pick up daily parts from assigned FedEx or UPS stores, and drop off old components using pre-paid labels. Travel to multiple work locations throughout the day with a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license. Complete Dell and Lenovo onboarding certifications and log into the portal by 9 am to code calls and map routes. Tickets are run Monday through Friday during the day shift with variable call volumes of 2-5 per day. Pay is based solely on calls completed, starting at $35 per call, with a pay period every Friday.
Required Qualifications
- prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware
- reliable form of transportation
- valid driver's license
- access to a computer and the Internet
- ability to log into your tech portal each morning by 9 am
- prior hands on experience with replacing components on laptops and desktops
- comfortable with daily local travel
- regular availability of a minimum of 3 weekdays
