Job Summary
Computer Field Technician position handling on-site hardware warranty services for laptops/desktops across territories. 1099/per-call contract with pay based on completed calls starting at $35, governed by daily ticket flow and schedule. Onboarding includes Dell and Lenovo certifications; role requires reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and daily portal login to map calls and confirm times. Responsibilities include hardware repairs/ installations at customer sites (residential/commercial), picking up parts daily from FedEx/UPS, and frequent local travel with 2-5 calls per day. Candidates must have hands-on experience replacing components on laptops/desktops and be available at least 3 weekdays. All information kept confidential under EEO guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Must have prior hands on experience with replacing components on laptops and desktops
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be comfortable with daily local travel
- Must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day
- You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding
