Job Summary
Complete on-site hardware warranty services for laptop and desktop units across residential and commercial sites. Confirm service times with customers via your tech portal, pick up daily parts from designated FedEx or UPS stores, and drop off old components using pre-paid labels. Perform hands-on repairs and installations while traveling to multiple work locations throughout the day. Log into your portal by 9 am to code calls and map out your route, ensuring you maintain a minimum of three weekdays. Certifications from Dell and Lenovo are completed during onboarding. Pay is based solely on the number of calls completed, starting at $35 per call.
Required Qualifications
- prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware
- reliable form of transportation
- valid driver's license
- access to a computer and the Internet
- prior hands on experience with replacing components on laptops and desktops
- comfortable with daily local travel
