Job Summary
As a Computer Field Technician, you will be responsible for performing hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units at customer sites. The position is contract-based and compensates technicians per completed calls, starting at $35, with variations in pay based on distance traveled. You will need prior experience with hardware repairs, valid transportation, and a driver's license. Certifications from Dell and Lenovo will be provided during onboarding. Daily responsibilities include logging into a tech portal, confirming service times, and servicing multiple locations.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware
- Hands-on experience with replacing components on laptops and desktops
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Access to a computer and the Internet
Additional Requirements
- Must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered
- Comfortable with daily local travel
