Job Summary
Act as a Certified Surgical Technician in the Operating Room, scrubbing for complex cases including robotics, vascular, neurovascular, and trauma services under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Deliver patient care before, during, and after surgery while making calls and multitasking independently. Requires a high school diploma, OR Technician training, 2–3 years of experience, and mandatory certifications in Surgical Tech, NBSTSA, and BLS. Schedule includes 7:00 am to 3:00 pm day shifts with alternating weekends, holidays, and call coverage.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an OR Technician training program
- 2 – 3 years of experience
- Strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Ability to make calls
- Flexibility
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently
- Certified Surgical Technician
- NBSTSA Certification
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification with American Heart Association
- Availability for 7:00 am – 3:00 pm shift
- Full Time employment
- Alternating Weekends, holidays and call coverage
